1327 Washington AVE (formerly Gelateria Tavolini) Leased in Less than Thirty Days

11/01/2014

King Realty Advisors, a full service commercial real estate firm specializing in third party representation, has leased 1327 Washington Avenue less than 30 days after Gelateria announced it would be closing.  King is based in downtown St. Louis on the second floor of the old Hamilton Jewelers building at 318 N 8th ST on Old Post Office Plaza.

Medina, a locally owned quick-serve Mediterranean restaurant, will occupy the space at 1327 Washington AVE.  This is Medina’s first location.

Medina will offer fast casual dining focusing on healthy and nutritious food based on the Mediterranean diet.  The store owners plan to use natural ingredients and unique spices for their recipes — the same recipes their grandmothers always used.

Brad Waldrop of King Realty Advisors was the real estate broker representing both tenant and landlord.

King Realty Advisors has been active in the downtown market for many years, representing Dave Jump in the sale-leaseback of CPI's headquarters at 1706 Washington AVE, and more recently an investor named Star Park II LLC in the acquisition of 64 surface parking stalls at 1101 Washington AVE as well as the mixed-use 9,000 SQ FT restaurant and office property which formerly housed McMurphy’s Grill at 614 N 11th ST.  In August King Realty Advisors leased 9,015 SQ FT of new office space at Monkey Building (1430 Washington AVE) bringing the property from 70% occupancy to nearly 100% occupancy.
