Jay started his career at the age of 18 as a Property Manager for his family's nearly-130 unit multifamily portfolio, which he is proud to note never fell below 97% during his tenure. While simultaneously going to the University of Missouri - Saint Louis, he started and built and operated a Short Term Rental assemblage comprising of eleven units. While at Swaine Realty, Jay handled the implementation of new software along with the processes & procedures accompanying them including Asana, Appfolio, Quickbooks, and Google Workspace.

After helping to build Swaine Realty for five years, Jay's experience perfectly segued into a Leasing Manager position with STLRES's 230 unit management portfolio. From the moment a Tenant expressed interest through move-in (and eventuall move-out), Jay was responsible for all leasing activity and was Tenants main point of contact throughout their residency, effectively & efficiently handling anything that was thrown at him.
Rivers Realty/King Realty Advisors (2022 - present)
After six years in the industry, Jay took the leap to start his own residential-focused brokerage which is now responsible for managing over $11 Million worth of real estate across 31 propereties in the Saint Louis area, spanning as far West as Frontenac and as far East as Carondelet. Included under Jay's management are 8 of his own units across three properties. At King Realty Advisors, Jay is responsible for assisting with myriad commercial sale and leasing assignments throughout the metro area.
